How to keep your jewels clean

Most of my work is blackened/oxidized in areas. This is an intentional process to give the piece more dimension and shadowing.
As a result, no jewelry cleaners or chemicals should be used to clean your piece.
A polishing cloth is best. A soft tooth brush, some soap and warm water is a great way to clean out any stubborn grime. This will not harm the oxidization, metal, or stones.
silver, copper and brass will easily oxidize in humid environments, so avoid keeping jewelry in the bathroom.

No matter what, metal will tarnish. It is the result of being exposed to oxygen, so a great tip is to keep your jewels in plastic baggies! Will lessen how often you need to polish them. :)

I mean hypothetically yes...but if the jewelry has stones, it's not exactly ideal for the longevity of the piece. It affects the settings and can do funky things to the metal.
POOLS and OCEANS ARE A NO-GO - The chlorine and/or salt is a hazard on the metal, resulting in corrosion and weird, unwanted patina. Not great for the stones either.
